Paddle up for the 13th annual Gumbo Cook-Off!

The Gumbo Foundation is hosting the 13th Annual Gumbo Cook-Off; poster

This year's event is set for Saturday, Jan. 26, at Doran & Cawthorne Law Firm located at 521 E. Landry St. in downtown, Opelousas.

The cook-off begins at 8 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m.

The 11th annual gumbo cook-off taking place this weekend in downtown Opelousas.

This gumbo cook-off will feature a battle for the paddle gumbo competition amongst more than 30 gumbo cooking teams.

Those in attendance will also get to enjoy live music, raffles, a silent auction, and a kids corner.
